Here's my story:
Hi, I’m Sheren Valdez, the heart behind A Cup of Heaven. Born
and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, I come from a rich and vibrant cultural blend—my mother is from Ecuador, my father from Iraq. As a Latina Arab Christian, I’ve often felt like I lived between worlds. But in every season, one thing remained constant: coffee—
a comfort, a connector, and a part of both my cultures’ daily rhythms.
A Cup of Heaven started as a simple idea fueled by passion. I dreamed of creating a space where everyone could feel seen, loved, and valued, just by receiving a thoughtful, handcrafted cup of coffee. When my husband and I moved to Cincinnati, that dream began to take shape. We explored dozens of local cafés and even attended a coffee convention, searching for the perfect beans. That’s where we met Chris, an incredible roaster and mentor who connected us with ethically sourced beans from farmers whose stories we deeply honor.
Today, A Cup of Heaven is more than just a mobile
coffee cart— it’s a ministry of warmth, quality, and connection.
Every cup we serve carries intention: to uplift, to bring joy,
and to offer a moment of peace in your day. Whether we’re
at your wedding, a community event, or a local market,
our mission is simple:
Pour love into every cup. No matter what.
We can’t wait to share a cup—and a moment—with you.
